My name is Linda Barnes, and Iām an avid crafter who loves testing new ideas and techniques ā and cheering others on while they do the same.
Life has thrown a few plot twists my way. I live with permanent paralysis and, more recently, I lost the ability to speak. But creativity? Thatās still very loud.
In fact, crafting has become my voice ā and possibly my therapy (much cheaper than chocolate⦠sometimes š).
Iām incredibly blessed with a husband who encourages me daily to chase my dreams ā even when I decide to film ājust one quick YouTube videoā that somehow turns into three takes and a lighting adjustment.
With our son now having flown the nest, this season of life has given me a little more time (and maybe a little more craft space!) to pour into this creative journey. Iām also supported by an amazing care team who help make it possible for me to keep creating and sharing what I love.
In my creative community, STAMP means:
S ā Support each other
T ā Try new techniques (even the slightly risky ones!)
A ā Access tools, supplies & inspiration
M ā Make memories while learning
P ā Play freely and pass on creativity
Thatās the heart behind Risk-ey Zone Stamp.
Being a Stampinā Up! demonstrator and creating YouTube content comes with its own challenges ā technology doesnāt always cooperate, tools donāt always behave, and sometimes Iām learning right alongside you. But thatās part of the fun.
Letās everyone stamp.
Whether youāre brand new or have a craft room that has āexpandedā over the years (we donāt judge here!), Iād love you to join me. Book a session, follow along online, or simply pop in for inspiration.
Here thereās no pressure to be perfect ā just creativity, connection, and maybe a little glitter along the way.
