May 2024 Sketch Swap Spotlight: Pam Troxler’s “Thanks a Bunch!” Card
One of the joys of being part of a creative team is the inspiration that flows from our sketch swaps—and this May, I was lucky enough to receive a stunning floral card from Pam Troxler, Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator. Her design radiates warmth, gratitude, and springtime charm, and I’m thrilled to share it with you.
Before we dive in, a little apology from me. I had meant to post this much earlier, but I misplaced the card during a busy patch and only recently found it again. I’m so glad I did, because it deserves to be seen and celebrated.
Pam’s card features a cheerful wheelbarrow overflowing with blooms, framed in a scalloped circle and accented with the sweet sentiment “thanks a bunch!”—a perfect nod to the heartfelt spirit of our swap.

Why I Love It
Pam’s card is a perfect example of how retired favorites can still shine when paired with thoughtful layering and embellishments. The textures, colors, and sentiment all work together to create a card that feels like a warm hug in the mail.
Inside Verse Added
For the inside panel, I added the verse:
“Your kindness rolled in like a wheelbarrow of flowers—
overflowing, colorful, and full of heart.
Thanks a whole bunch.”
I placed it above a 1.9 cm strip of coordinating DSP along the bottom edge, which I think finishes the inside beautifully. I used my Cricut to write the verse with a Coral Cricut pen, giving it a clean, handwritten look that ties in perfectly with the colours on the front of the card.
