Fun Fold Technique: Diamond Flip Fun Fold

This Diamond Flip Fun Fold Card brings movement and dimension to your design! The central diamond panel—holding the toadstool cluster—flips and rotates as the card opens, offering multiple display possibilities.

How It Works

• Folded flat: The diamond panel aligns neatly with the inner card design, blending into the layout.
• Opened and displayed: The diamond flips forward, standing independently and creating a dimensional focal point.
• This movement adds visual intrigue, making the card both fun and functional, allowing the recipient to showcase the design in different orientations.

Unique Folding Feature

The black diamond square holding the mushrooms can be repositioned based on how the card is displayed:

• Folded flat: The diamond seamlessly integrates into the inner panel.
• Standing display: The diamond shifts into position, floating slightly forward to enhance depth and structure.

This flexible interactive element allows the card to be displayed in multiple ways, creating balance and movement within the fold. The combination of half-fold, Z-fold, and pop-out layering gives the card its distinct look, making it both artistic and engaging—a perfect showcase for the Terrific Toadstools bundle.

Front Card Design

The Melon Mambo base provides a striking contrast against the Basic Black layers, framing the whimsical Toadstool Gardens DSP. The playful patterns—floral mushrooms on one side, pink and white dots on the other—add texture and charm.

At the center, two vibrant toadstools—one in Pumpkin Pie, the other in Melon Mambo—come to life with the Toadstool Builder Punch. Their white-spotted caps and Basic Beige stems create a realistic effect, resting atop a black square panel that enhances their bold presence.

For an extra touch of magic, purple sequins are scattered throughout, catching the light and adding a gentle shimmer. The polished layout and structured layers elevate the Diamond Flip Fun Fold, making it a true display piece.

Inside Card Design

Inside, the Diamond Flip structure keeps the design cohesive while offering a space for a heartfelt message.

The Basic White cardstock is framed by Basic Black, creating a crisp contrast. A stamped toadstool cluster, inked in Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, and Basic Beige, adds a charming detail.

To maintain continuity, the Toadstool Gardens DSP runs along the lower panel, anchoring the fold mechanism. A scattering of purple sequins ties the embellishments together while ensuring a soft shimmer.
