The Sky’s the Limit: Linda Barnes’ Artistic Triumph

We are excited to share a stunning card by Linda Barnes, created for the Creative Stampers’ Team swap and featured in the Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalogue 2024-2025. This card highlights the Adventurous Sky stamp set and dies bundle, using a mix of vibrant colors and textures to craft an enchanting design.

Linda used Summer Splash cardstock for the base, complemented by layers of Blueberry Bushel, Basic White, and Real Red. These colors create an inviting and lively palette. The main elements were stamped with Summer Splash and Blueberry Bushel inks, adding depth to the card.

Supplies included the Adventurous Sky stamp set and dies, Summer Splash, Blueberry Bushel, Basic White, and Real Red cardstock, Summer Splash and Blueberry Bushel inks, the So Swirly embossing folder, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals, and Industrial Trinkets. Other tools used were a Paper Trimmer, Bone Folder, Take Your Pick tool, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Stampin’ Clear Blocks, Stampin’ Mist Stamp Cleaner, and optional Grid Paper and Stampin’ Pierce Mat or Stampin’ Glass Mat Studio.

The Sky’s the Limit: Linda Barnes’ Artistic Triumph

This vibrant card is built on a bright Summer Splash cardstock base, layered with Blueberry Bushel,  and Basic White, for a lively color combination. The centerpiece is a die-cut airplane in Summer Splash and Blueberry Bushel with a Real Red propeller, set against a backdrop of stamped airplanes and clouds. Inside, the card features a layered design with plenty of space for a personalized message, and the matching envelope is decorated with a charming row of blue biplanes.
