Vibrant Beauty: Handmade Birthday Card by Jenny Osmond

I am delighted to present a stunning birthday card crafted by the talented Jenny Osmond, my partner for the June swap in the Stamping with DonnaG! Handmade Card Swap Private Group. This card epitomizes creativity and elegance, showcasing the exquisite products from Stampin’ Up!

The Designer Series Paper from the Unbound Beauty collection serves as a beautiful backdrop, enhanced by the intricate dies from the Flowers of Beauty and Unbound Love sets. The base of the card is made from white cardstock, complemented by a 5 cm by 10.5 cm stripe of Designer Series Paper attached approximately 2 ½ cm from the bottom.

A panel of 7.9 cm by 13.2 cm white cardstock, alongside a piece of 7.7 cm by 12.9 cm Designer Series Paper, forms a central feature. Ribbon has been added horizontally about 3 1/5 cm from the bottom, tied into a bow, and secured with dimensionals to create depth and interest.

For the sentiment, “Happy Birthday” is stamped in Berry Burst ink on basic white cardstock, cut using the oval-shaped sentiment die from the Unbounded Love set, which adds a touch of simplicity. Additionally, flowers from the Flowers of Beauty set have been stamped in Berry Burst and Petunia Pop ink using two-step stamps, then die-cut. The larger flower is adhered directly to the card, while the smaller one is elevated using dimensionals to add depth. Leaves are die-cut from Summer Splash cardstock using the Unbounded Love dies.

Finally, the card is embellished with 2024 – 2026 In-Color Resin Dots to provide sparkle and texture. Dimensional adhesives and multipurpose liquid glue ensure each element is securely in place, while the silver and white sheer ribbon adds a sophisticated finishing touch. The application of Berry Burst and Petunia Pop ink brings the entire design together in a cohesive and vibrant display of colors.
