Z-card meets Tent-fold: A surprising paper fold fusion!
In the creative session “In Da Craft Room,” I (Linda Barnes) learned how to make cards from Caron, an experienced Stampin’ Up demonstrator. The session, organized by Sweets Stampin Creations, was a journey of inspiration, guiding participants through a series of clues to craft their unique designs. My adventure took an unexpected turn when I combined a z card fold with a tent fold, making a original and unplanned card structure. The card uses the Stampin’ Up Wild Ferns bundle, highlighting the delicate beauty of ferns in its design. Adding texture and depth, the Stampin’ Up! Fern 3D embossing folder makes the card more realistic, making each leaf stand out. This image shows not just a card but a story of creativity and learning, a proof of the joy of crafting and the happy accidents that lead to innovation. This card is a celebration of the unexpected, where a simple mistake leads to a beautiful mix of techniques, all while featuring the elegant Wild Ferns bundle and the intricate 3D embossing from Stampin’ Up!
